This year’s Open Monument Days in Breda will get off to a festive start with two special evenings filled with light, dance and music. During the travelling Heritage Spectacle, culture, socialising and wonder come together at one of the city’s most beautiful heritage sites: the Grote Kerk Breda.
Be amazed by an impressive performance in which two dancers, dressed in white, move gracefully around the tower of the Grote Kerk Breda, whilst spectacular video mapping brings the monumental tower to life.
The performance lasts 35 minutes and is free to watch.
A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
Dance, architecture, music and specially designed visual projections create a unique experience. The projections are inspired by iconic elements and stories from the Grote Kerk in Breda, telling the history of this historic building in a contemporary and surprising way.
The heritage spectacle is free to attend, lasts approximately 35 minutes and can be viewed from the Kerkplein and around the corner on Torenstraat.
A production by Erfgoedspektakel and Stichting BOEi, made possible thanks to the support of the Province of North Brabant. In collaboration with the municipality of Breda.
