Activity
The most iconic monument of Breda is of course the Grote Kerk or 'Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk'. A visit to the elegant interior of this national monument, built in the Brabant Gothic style that transitions into Renaissance style, is therefore well worthwhile.
Two hundred tombs. The oldest Renaissance art in the Netherlands. Painted-over and rediscovered frescos and vault paintings. The stinking rich. A vault painting with pure gold leaf and the unknown Breda-related history of the Dutch royal family. The tour guides of Gilde De Baronie will be happy to tell you all about it.
Ticket per person €7.50
For tours by an external guide, we charge a contribution of €1 per person.
